Wolfgang Vater was the founder of Vater & Junghänel and led the firm for over 40 years with warmth and commitment as an experienced lawyer and notary. Since 2012, he has devoted himself entirely to his work as a lawyer. His focus was primarily on general contract law, litigation and enforcement of claims, as well as family law and commercial tenancy and construction law. Wolfgang Vater also had extensive experience in general corporate law, leasing law and M&A and real estate law. In his many years of professional practice, he has assisted and advised both - banks and borrowers - in numerous international real estate transactions and real estate financings. Wolfgang Vater was awarded the Federal Cross of Merit on Ribbon of the Federal Republic of Germany, among other honours, for his outstanding local political and social commitment. Wolfgang Vater passed away in 2021 at the age of 79 and leaves behind a gap that cannot be filled.
